Imagine this petite looking boy, about the age of three, sitting at the corner of one of the walls in Cold Storage, munching happily away on his biscuit. Suddenly,a teenager walked past him and knock the biscuit out of his hands, because she was complacently swinging her handbag and she absolutely took no notice of him It fell out of his hands, unto the ground and it broke. Despite the fact that the biscuit was dirtied and part of it chipped, he picked it up and continue eating it. Guilt overwhelmed her when she saw what had just happened and she apologised to the boy and his mother and gave him a bar of chocolate. He beamed at her and his eyes shone into hers and it seemed to say: " Thank you for the chocolate but its alrights, its just a biscuit.=)"
See? thats the thing with little children. Despite how bad the situation they're in, they would still pick themselves up from where they were left at and carry on with such joy. They never seem to bear a grudge against people who hurt them and the fact that they always see things in such positive light,THAT amazes me. Angels, thats what i call them.
Imagine how the little boy might had felt when he saw his biscuit smashed against the ceramic floor? Could she have just smashed his favourite snack?Did she ever thought about it? Why didnt she even care to look where she was going? Was the bar of chocolate given to the little boy because she just wanted to soothe her conscience?
You might think that i must be out of my mind to be blogging about such a minor issue that happened and im reading too much into things. Come to think of it, i might be... but things are different, When ure the girl. The meanie.
Yes, i was the one. So what do you think of me now. Don't i deserve a death sentence? AH! vera, ure so horrid.
It was unintentional yet, it strike me so hard. I could still remember the little boy's facial expression. Gosh. This happened just an hour ago and although it seem so small an issue, ive still managed to get a lesson out of it.=)
